Ambassadors connect individuals and families in their community with participating healthcare clinics. You help people understand available health plans, membership programs, and clinical services tailored to their needs.
Compensation structures vary by participating organization and program type. Details are provided during the onboarding process. All compensation complies with applicable federal and state healthcare regulations.
No healthcare license is required. We welcome community leaders, social workers, insurance professionals, and anyone passionate about helping others access quality healthcare. Relevant experience is valued but not mandatory.
Our ambassador program is structured in compliance with federal Anti-Kickback Statute safe harbors and the Florida Patient Brokering Act (Section 817.505). Ambassadors operate under organizational agreements reviewed by healthcare compliance counsel.
All ambassadors complete a compliance orientation covering HIPAA basics, ethical outreach practices, and program guidelines before beginning any community engagement activities. Ongoing training modules are available through your ambassador dashboard.
The online application takes approximately 2 minutes. After submission, you will undergo a brief background verification and compliance orientation. Most ambassadors are fully onboarded within 5 business days.

The MedNex Community Health Ambassador Program is designed to comply with the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute (42 U.S.C. § 1320a-7b), the Civil Monetary Penalties Law (42 U.S.C. § 1320a-7a), and the Florida Patient Brokering Act (FL Stat. § 817.505). Ambassador compensation is structured under applicable safe harbor provisions and organizational employment/contractor agreements. This program does not offer, promise, or provide remuneration to patients or Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries for referrals of healthcare services. Compensation details are confidential and provided only to approved ambassadors during onboarding. Individual results and arrangements vary by participating organization.
